I'm Lincoln Herring, an experienced instrumental music teacher in Decatur, GA. I offer private lessons on trumpet, music composition and music theory at all levels. I also teach piano, drum set, low brass, woodwind, and guitar lessons for beginner and intermediate students.

I believe music education should be fun! I instill a love of music that students can keep for life. I love sharing the joy of music with anyone interested in learning.

​A seasoned educator in the Atlanta area, I carry a college degree in music education. I currently serve as K-5 Music Teacher with Gwinnett County Public Schools, and I've also previously served three years as Band Director at The Swain School.
